Cyrus Stacey | Chair
Cyrus Stacey is the Quality Assurance Associate Director for Eisai Inc., a US pharmaceutical subsidiary of Tokyo-based Eisai Co. In this role, he is responsible for all quality assurance activities related to the two filling lines in a $90 Million parenteral manufacturing facility. Prior to this position, he was the Principal Manager of EMQO Biologics for Eisai Inc., where he established strong business partnerships with external contract manufacturing organizations. Cyrus holds a MSc in Microbiology from North Carolina State University, as well as a BSc in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry. He was born and raised in Washington, DC.
Nevzer G. Stacey | Founder & Director
Nevzer G. Stacey founded HasNa, Inc. in 1998. Her background comprises five years as a study director for international labor standards at the National Research Council of the National Academies of Science, where she was also the resident expert on transitions from education to the workplace; twenty years of service as a volunteer mediator in the Washington, DC court system; and thirty years at the US Department of Education, where she worked on school-to-work issues and represented the U.S. in international projects sponsored by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and the World Bank. She holds a MA in international organizations and Middle East area studies from American University’s School of International Service. Ms. Stacey was born in Istanbul.
Mark Stacey | Treasurer
Mark E. Stacey is a Biopharmaceutical Operations leader with a history of leveraging strategic thinking, change management and technical strengths to drive efficiency and process improvements across organizations. Mark has held leadership positions at Amgen, Human Genome Sciences, and AstraZeneca. He has also founded and/or led small businesses and start-ups through launch, growth, and exit phases across the consulting, retail services, and Aerospace industries. He received his MBA from the University of Maryland and BS in Chemical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. He received a CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional Certification) from APICS and is currently a mentor at FedTech.io supporting start-up studios and accelerators to foster entrepreneurship.
